Background

DKS Culture Group is a folk music and dancing group from Brunei Darussalam established in 1997 whose purpose is the display of Bruneian folk dancing traditions.
The group has taken part in numerous television programmes such as:
• Hiburan Hujung Minggu (weekend entertainment) (Radio Television Brunei)
• Dari Studio 1 (from Studio 1) (RTB)
• Varia Seni (various arts) (RTB)
• Citra Musica (RTB) (musical showcase)
• MOU Program Senandung Muhibah (MOU musical programme promoting harmony) (RTM)
• Rhapsodi (TV 12 Singapore)
• Alai Paplern (TV Thailand)
• Jalinan Nada (tone and rhythm)(NR Indonesia)
DKS have also performed for the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport of Brunei in the following countries:
France,  Japan, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand (ASEAN Drum Festival), Malaysia , Melaka (ASEAN Drum Festival), Myanmar (ASEAN Puppet Festival)
